Altercation between prisoners leads to stabbing at Baltimore Central Booking Facility

BALTIMORE — A stabbing inside Baltimore's Central Booking and Intake Facility sends one prisoner to the hospital.

It happened around 9am on Halloween.

An official with Maryland Public Safety and Corrections told WMAR-2 News the stabbing occurred during an altercation between two incarcerated individuals.

The incident left a 27-year-old inmate with a non-life threatening stab wound.

An investigation is ongoing.
