BALTIMORE — Baltimore City Public Schools' Board of Education met Wednesday night and one topic was CEO Sonja Santelises' contract.
The board voted to extend Santelises' contract for one year.
Eight were for the extension, one person was against.
Following the vote, Santelises was thankful, giving love to her team, the board and her family.
Her contract was last extended back in 2020, for four years.
