Update:
As of 9 a.m. January 10, power to more than 49,000 BGE customers has been restored. That's 80 percent of customers who lost service, BGE says.
More than 14,500 customers remain out of service. BGE expects service to be restored for at least 90 percent of customers impacted by storm-related outages by 11 p.m. Wednesday. All customers should be restored by 9 p.m. on January 11.
There were about 60,400 outages as result of the storm.

Thousands of Marylanders are currently without power as heavy rain continues rattle the region.
Currently, BGE is reporting there are 879 actives outages affecting 28,427 people.
Over 1,000,000 customers have been served so far.
