BALTIMORE — A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were shot after a large fight broke out at the Inner Harbor Sunday night.

Around 9 p.m., police were called to the 400 block of E. Pratt Street after a fight broke out among a group of over 200 young people.

As police were arresting a person involved in the fight, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were shot in the crowd.

Both teens were taken to local hospitals, and one is in critical condition.

Police followed one suspect as they fled the scene on a dirt bike.

The suspect drove the dirt bike into police headquarters, where they were arrested with a loaded handgun.

It is unknown if the suspect was involved in the shooting.

Police tracked another suspect to E. Lombard Street and Light Street that matched a description given by a witness.

The suspect was armed with a loaded ghost gun when arrested by police. At this time, this suspect is a person of interest in the shooting.

"But this leads to a larger issue." said Police Commissioner Michael Harrison. "That young people would, number one, have ease of access to these firearms and use them indiscriminately, shooting people within 50 feet of 25 to 35 police officers who are in the block."

Mayor Scott said he plans to enforce a youth curfew in the coming months.

"What we are not going to tolerate is this kind of behavior," said Mayor Scott.

This is a breaking story.
