BALTIMORE — Community organizers came together on Saturday to help promote peace in the city.
Mr. Hood Cleanup and local non-profit We Are Us held a community clean-up and barbecue outside the Renaissance Academy in West Baltimore.
It’s all part of the city’s Stop the Violence Summer Campaign, which aims to reduce youth gun violence and provide more community engagement.
The event included food, a marching band, and a bounce house.
