ESSEX, Md. — A man has died after being hit by a car in Essex Wednesday night.
Baltimore County Police say Flore Mekoumou, 32, was struck by a Honda CRV while walking in the area of Route 702 and Old Eastern Avenue.
The driver remained on scene. Mekoumou later died at the hospital.
Police have not determined the cause of the crash.
