BROOKLYN PARK, Md. — One man is dead after a shooting in Brooklyn Park Monday afternoon.

Officers arrived at the scene in the 100 block of Bon Air Avenue and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was identified as 20-year-old Tyrese Williams.

He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Police say Williams was coming out of a home when he was shot at by multiple suspects.

The suspects fled in a dark gray van, which detectives determined was a gray Toyota Sienna, reported stolen out of Baltimore.

The van was later found in the Edgecomb neighborhood of Baltimore and five suspects were detained.

Dabron Johnson, 17, and Dicouisey Wilson, 18, were arrested and charged with the murder of Williams. Johnson was charged as an adult.

Tykese Hammond, 20, was arrested on an open warrant through Frederick County for failing to appear in court to face motor vehicle theft charges.

Additionally, two teen boys, aged 17 and 15, were released to their caregivers without charges.
