Howard County Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on Route 29 at Route 108.
According to officials, the crash happened around 3 p.m. when a vehicle was entering Route 29 south from the Route 108 ramp when it lost control and struck two other cars.
Ten people, ranging in age from 9 to 42, were injured during the crash. All in all, eight adults and two juveniles were taken to local hospitals.
One of the adults, a woman who was the driver of the striking vehicle, is listed in critical but stable condition. The others have non-life-threatening or minor injuries.
Route 29 was closed for 3.5 hours.
