BALTIMORE — One person died in a fire in East Baltimore on Thursday night.
It happened around 7 p.m. in the 500 block of N. Clinton Street.
When they arrived on the scene, firefighters discovered a blaze emitting from the first and second floors of a vacant row home.
Once inside the building, they found one person who was unconscious and unresponsive.
The individual was pronounced dead shortly after.
At this time, authorities believe that the person died as a result of the flames.
The cause of death isn’t official and the source of the fire is still under investigation.
