Police investigating shooting that injured one man in Harford County

HARFORD COUNTY, Md. — A man was injured following a shooting in Harford County on Monday.

Around 4:08 p.m., police say they responded to a report of a shooting in the 3500 block of Woodsdale Road.

When they arrived, they found Eric Chi Fonong Igwacho, 27, suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say through investigation they were able to identify the suspect, 41-year-old Justin Matthew Schlotterbeck.

During a search of Schlotterbeck's vehicle, they found a handgun that had been disassembled.

He's been charged with attempted first-degree murder and other related charges.

While motive is unknown, police say the two men knew each other.
