PARKVILLE, Md. — Baltimore County Police say a mass shooting incident occurred in Towson on Tuesday night.
According to Baltimore County Police, officers arrived at the scene in the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard around 7:12 pm for reports of multiple gunshots.
Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough confirmed that the first officer on the scene found a vehicle on its side and in flames.
Officers began their search and found multiple victims, and contacted Baltimore County Fire who treated victims at the scene and took them to the hospital.
One person is dead, and nine others are wounded. Authorities say the majority of the people taken to trauma centers were hit by gunfire.
Chief McCullough says that investigators are working to determine what caused the car to crash.
Police are still working to determine the exact number of victims.
