Shooting in Annapolis leaves three juveniles injured, police say

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Annapolis Police are investigating after three juveniles were shot on Friday afternoon.

According to police, the shooting occurred in the area of Copeland Street and Royal Street as the victims were exiting a school bus.

Officials say the shooting happened around 4:00 pm.

Annapolis City Police Chief Edward Jackson confirmed that the victims ages ranged from 12 to 13 years old.

Their injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

No motive has been determined at this time, but police are asking for anyone with information to contact them at 410-260-3439.

Authorities also say that detectives have been in contact with Anne Arundel County Public Schools, who have counselors and other student services available for students on Monday.
