BALTIMORE — Thousands of Marylanders are reporting they are without power due to the severe weather.
In a message on their website, BGE expects 80 percent of customers to have their power restored by 11 p.m., Tuesday night.
As of 9:00 a.m., on Wednesday, BGE restored power to over 101,500 customers. There are still about 18,005 people without power.
The hardest hit areas were Carroll, Baltimore and Harford counties.
Over 30 poles were broken on Route 140 in Westminster.
BGE crews are on sight removing the downed poles and wires from Rte. 140 Baltimore Blvd.
The outages began around 5:00 p.m., Monday evening.
