Two police officers were taken to a hospital early Friday morning after they were hit by a car.
The officers were in the middle of a traffic stop in the 500 block of S. Canton Ave. just after 4 a.m. when they were hit by a passing car.
Both were taken to the hospital, but have non-life threatening injures.
The driver stayed at the scene.
