When dementia strikes, it effects the entire family. No one is immune to the frustrations, sadness and anxiety a diagnosis of dementia brings. It is difficult to deal with these often overwhelming feelings while managing the day to day care of your loved one. It is important to build a care team, people you can count on to help when you need it.

Absolute Companion Care has been working with dementia clients for 15 years and the director is a dementia spouse herself. The caregivers have first hand experience with negative dementia behaviors and the challenges they present. Through the years they have compiled many strategies for handling the often frustrating, always changing, behaviors that come with dementia.

The mission of Absolute Companion Care is to serve the needs of the effected dementia client, as well as to teach the family ways they can cope when behaviors become problematic. Sometimes a solution is easier than you think! Caregivers are trained and mentored so that together with the family we can brainstorm for ideas that make life easier.
