Having a sick child is a nightmare scenario for a parent. When Sara Blassingame's son Houston Asher was diagnosed with leukemia, she not only had her son to worry about, but also the mounting medical bills.
Houston was being treated in Baltimore, far away from their house near Washington, DC, and the constant wear and tear on her car left Sara wondering what to do next. While in the hospital, Houston found comfort in Jimmy the Boxer's Anyone Rides commercials and encouraged his mother to car shop there. When Jimmy heard the story, he and the dealership wanted to be more involved.
