As part of their on-going recruitment efforts, The Baltimore County Police Department is working on incentive programs to encourage qualified applicants to apply for employment.
The Experienced Police Officer Program, formally known as Lateral Police Officers, allows Baltimore County Police Officers with prior law enforcement experience to transfer from one agency to another.
Program benefits include sizable salary bonuses, and credit for past years worked.
