October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and House of Ruth Maryland is working with the community to make sure people have the resources they need.
House of Ruth provides safety, shelter,and legal services to more than 9,000 women, men, and children annually. They also have abuse intervention programming for abusers and webinars for business owners and community members. House of Ruth has a 24/7 emergency phone line as well as 24/7 website chat.
WMAR-2 News is helping House of Ruth Fill the House on Wednesday, October 21 form 9am - 6pm in the Weis parking lot at Towson Plaza. People can donate diapers, wipes, and formula, as well as new twin sized bedding and pillows, underwear, socks, and more.
