Hungry Helpers is a new initiative showing appreciation for healthcare workers while helping to support small businesses. This keeps restaurant staff busy during this difficult time, and provides a free meal to overworked healthcare staff members at hospitals
One local family is taking donations from the public and using them to buy meals at local restaurants. Those meals are then safely donated to area hospitals like St. Joseph Medical Center and GBMC.
Hungry Helpers was able to raise $2000 in just 24 hours and donate 80 meals from Liberatore's Restaurant in Timonium.
