Maryland Center for Veterans Education and Training, Inc. (MCVET) is the nation’s premier program for helping homeless veterans heal and achieve independence, self-sufficiency and permanent housing. In its 24 years of service, the Baltimore-based non-profit has provided residential shelter and wrap around supportive services for homeless men and women veterans and over 10,000 veterans from all branches of the military.
On June 9, they'll kick off their biggest fundraiser of the year! The 24th Annual 5K/10K Race & Walk features courses through some of the city's most beautiful areas. Following the races, everyone can enjoy refreshments, music, door prize drawings, additional entertainment and vendor tables.
