Midday Maryland is helping the MDSPCA give a home a dog.
Some dogs get adopted immediately, while some can be harder to place. Senior dogs can spend months in shelters when they could be warm, comfortable, and loved in a home of their very own.
Senior pairs like Sparky and Rosebud, a 9 year old brother sister duo, are already bonded. They can keep each other company, give each other mental stimulation through play, and have known temperaments. Most of the time, senior dogs are calmer, house trainer, and may even know some commands.
