On Saturday, May 11, thirteen farms across five Maryland counties will open their doors to allow the public to see what goes on behind the scenes at Maryland horse farms. The free tours are family friendly and include looks at the horses, foaling barns, how farms operate and more.
Farms are an essential part of Maryland ecosystem and economy, with horse farms making up part of the over 1 billion dollar horse industry in the state.
