The University of Maryland (UM) Heart and Vascular Center is home to expert faculty physicians that not only provide cardiology care, treatments, and multidisciplinary resources for patients with heart problems, but are also changing the landscape of care through research, device testing and improvements in protocols.
Based on a nine-month-long survey of thousands of physicians in the Baltimore metro region, twelve cardiologists were named Top Docs in their specialties, a notable amount of physicians in the division.
The UM Heart and Vascular Center team is still seeing patients with urgent or emergent conditions and for all non-urgent medical concerns, virtual appointments are available for heart health services.
