September is Feeding America’s Hunger Action Month and Weis Markets is doing its part to help raise awareness for food insecurity in Maryland through its 12th annual Fight Hunger program, which will benefit many local community organizations, including the Maryland Food Bank.
Now through October 2, customers can round up their total at the register or purchase vouchers to help families in need. Customers can also donate non-perishable goods in store. Donations will benefit more than 150 food banks in the area, including the Maryland Food Bank.
