BALTIMORE — On Thursday, more than 3,000 students received their school supplies at a Preston Mitchum Jr. Foundation rally at Lansdowne Elementary School.
"We don't want any child to go to school and be without, so if we can contribute in some way even if its a few kids to be able to come to school and have what everyone else has," said Leah Moore of Metro by T-Mobile "Whether its the spiral notebook, glue, scissors, crayons we just want to be able to be there."
The foundation will also distribute donations to community organizations next weekend and throughout the rest of the following week.
