Good news for Baltimore City residents, and their pets! Firefighters are now better equipped to save the lives of your critters, thanks to a donation.

39 Emergency Pet Oxygen Mask Kits were given to the Baltimore City Fire Department by the Invisible Fence Brand as part of "Project Breathe."

The kits will help first responders save dogs, cats and small pets from smoke inhalation. Each kit contains three masks specifically designed fit the muzzles of small, medium and large pets.

The goal of "Project Breathe" is to provide one kit to every firehouse in the U.S. and Canada. So far 6,800 oxygen kits have been given out. The Invisible Fence Brand of Baltimore dealership alone has given over 100 kits to fire house in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Abingdon, and Norrisville.
