A judge denied bail for the student charged with attempted murder in a lunchroom fight at Frederick Douglass High School.

On Wednesday, a Frederick Douglass student was beaten unconscious until he had convulsions. Video of the fight went viral Thursday and 17-year-old Sean Johnson was charged as an adult later that day.

Johnson appeared in court in his football uniform for a bail review hearing Friday. Johnson has a history of anger management issues and a juvenile criminal record, including a conviction for conspiracy for robbery with a deadly weapon.

Prosecutors say the victim will need facial reconstructive surgery.

Baltimore City Public Schools rescheduled all activities at the school both Thursday and Friday.
