REISTERSTOWN, Md. (WMAR) — The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a post blast that occurred outside of a Carroll County home on Sunday morning.
Officials say the incident happened around 9 a.m. in the 2500 block of Hollingsworth Road in Reisterstown, just beyond the Baltimore County line.
Carroll County Sheriff's deputies were initially called to the home and found a destroyed mailbox, which appeared to have exploded.
No injuries were reported, and the only damage reported was to the mailbox.
Investigators are still working to figure out what caused the blast.
