WESTMINSTER, Md. — Westminster Police arrested a man early Thursday morning for an attempt armed robbery.
At 3:00 a.m., officers were called for a reported armed robbery in progress at the Carroll Mart located at 304 East Main Street.
Police said the suspect entered the store told the clerk that he had a handgun, and demanded money. The alleged robber fled the scene before getting anything from the store.
According to the department, after reviewing the store’s video surveillance footage, officers found and identified the suspect as 23-year-old Connor Patrick Cashman.
He was arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery and first degree assault. Cashman is being held on a “No Bond” status pending a court hearing tomorrow.
