WESTMINSTER, Md (WMAR) — A meat processing business went up in flames on Thursday afternoon in Westminster.
The incident happened at M&G Wild Game Processing located at 2020 Sykesville Road behind the local landmark, Bullock's Restaurant.
According to Josh Evans of the Westminster Fire Engine and Hose Company, it took about 10 minutes and 40 firefighters from multiple companies throughout Carroll County to place the blaze under control.
No fire crews or anyone inside the building was hurt.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating as it's not yet clear what caused the fire.
Evans said the State Health Department was also called to assist in the investigation.
