BALTIMORE — CareFirst is teaming up with the Maryland Food Bank and Aramark to provide food for our homeless, seniors and those who are critically ill.
They are making 600 boxed meals a week for organizations that are being impacted by COVID-19.
The partnership is also benefiting those who are helping to make the meals.
"By partnering with Aramark, we are able to make sure that those who might not otherwise be employed are able to come to work and earn a livable wage."
Meals are packed and prepared every Monday and Friday and each week Maryland Food Bank identifies an organization who will receive the meals.
