City trash truck driver tests positive for COVID-19, two other crew members sent home

BALTIMORE — A Baltimore City trash truck driver has tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee began feeling ill following his shift Tuesday, according to DPW spokesman Kurt Kocher.

He and two other crew members have been sent home to self quarantine.

Everything the employees have come into contact with is being sanitized according to the department.

Wednesday trash pickup will not be impacted.
