COLUMBIA, Md. — A new COVID-19 testing site opened in Columbia.
There are a few requirements you must meet before getting tested.
You must be displaying symptoms; you must get a referral from a healthcare professional and you must go online to register for an appointment. The drive-thru site is located at the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Center.
"So, one of the advantages of having the emissions test system is that people can go through a drive thru. It' already set up so it cuts down on costs on having to build something and get something ramped up. Many people because they're had to get emission over time, know where it is."
The site is open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
