BALTIMORE — It’s encouraged that people should stick together during this difficult time and that's exactly what the community had in mind for the staff at the FutureCare nursing home.

Jacqueline Richardson reached out to friends, family and her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta on Facebook for donations to provide dinner for the front-line workers at the location in Lochearn.

A donated dinner was prepared by Colin’s Restaurant and was delivered to the staff on Seton Drive.

"This is the second one. We’re going to do another one next Wednesday, but next Wednesday we're going to be providing lunch for 75 employees. The dinner menus are for 50 employees"

The nursing home had a COVID-19 outbreak early this month.

Lochearn is among the many nursing homes under the governor’s executive order where staff and residents will be tested and closely monitored.
