First doses of COVID-19 vaccine given at Johns Hopkins to front-line personnel

BALTIMORE — Healthcare workers in Maryland received the first doses of the recently authorized COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday.

Johns Hopkins Medicine received its initial doses of the vaccine on Monday and they administered the first doses to front-line health care personnel on Wednesday.

Kelly Casey, shown in the burgundy scrubs in the video above, was the first to receive the vaccine!
