BALTIMORE — Five private entities are donating protective equipment and sanitizer to the City of Baltimore in an effort to help protect front-line workers during the COVID-19 emergency.
“We want to thank our private corporations for their contributions and support during this global health emergency,” said Mayor Jack Young. “It is critical that we ensure that all of our essential workers are appropriately protected. These donations will help in our efforts to continue to keep all Baltimoreans safe.”
Target, Baltimore Health Professional Mutual Aid Corporative, Baltimore Mutual Aid Cooperative, Tito’s Homemade Vodka, and the Vivian T. Thomas Medical Arts Academy will be providing the City with disinfectant materials and personal protective equipment. Contributions include disposable shoe covers, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, latex gloves, surgical gloves, vinyl gloves, surgical masks, 3M Air Pollution & Pollen Respirator Masks, N95 Respirator Masks and bulk sponges.
