FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. — The Frederick County Health Department is now reporting 292 positive cases of COVID-19 and three additional deaths, bringing the total to seven.
Two of these newly reported deaths were residents of Frederick Health & Rehabilitation Center, a man in his 80’s and a woman in her 70’s, both with underlying conditions. The third was a woman in her 80’s who had been in the hospital.
There are also multiple people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the following long term care facilities:
- In Country Meadows: 10 people have tested positive, 6 residents and 4 employees; test results are pending on 5 employees.
- In Ballenger Creek: 17 people have tested positive, 13 residents and 4 employees; test results are pending on 3 residents and 1 employee
