WINDSOR MILL, Md. — H&S Bakery is donating more than 20,000 loaves of bread per week to more than 20 local charities and organizations including movable feast, Meals on Wheels and 4MyCity.
"It gives people a lot of hope, for instance yesterday we had our food giveaway and we saw around 430 cars. Some families were lined up since about 8 a.m. and we didn't start until 1."
H&S Bakery has also given back to the medical community and first responders through various events and programs including teaming up with the United Way of Central Maryland to donate 30,000 bagels to workers on the front line
