WOODBINE, Md. — So many important events are being canceled or postponed because of COVID-19.
However, this couple still wanted to celebrate their first grandchild and surprise their daughter.
They threw their daughter a drive-thru baby shower.
There were around 40 guests who bought gifts, they enjoyed a few light refreshments and even played some baby shower games. All while social distancing in their cars.
"So, everybody started across the street drove up the driveway, and everyone parked in front of where we were sitting. Nicholas was able to get the gifts from their cars, so nobody had to get out. Of course, we've got some great people here who were sharing snacks and beverages," said Stacey Wolf.
Stacey and her husband Nicholas do not know if the baby is a boy or girl. They say they want it to be a surprise.
She is due between late May and early June.
