BALTIMORE — A newly released study from WalletHub ranks Maryland the safest state in the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their research found that Maryland was tied for first in vaccination rate nationwide.
Maryland currently has the fourth lowest test positivity rate and fifth lowest hospitalization rate in the U.S., according to the WalletHub.
Experts also found Maryland to have the seventh lowest number of COVID related deaths.
