BALTIMORE — A Northwest Hospital provider and a patient at Sinai Hospital have tested positive for the coronavirus.
LifeBridge Health said the provider has informed their staff, and they have identified individuals who may have come into contact with this provider, including patients and employees.
LifeBridge said teams are communicating directly with those persons, including what steps they may need to take. They are following their internal protocols, including state and federal guidelines, to determine the next appropriate steps.
In regards to the Sinai Hospital patient, the staff has been following protocols and appropriate precautions in caring for this person.
According to LifeBridge, the patient is doing well, and they expect them to be discharged from the hospital soon.
