Prince George's County first responder tests positive for COVID-19

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A Prince George's County first responder has tested positive for coronavirus.

Fire Chief Tiffany Green announced on Tuesday that a member of the Fire/EMS Department tested positive for COVID-19.

The member is now at home and all steps are being taken to ensure their recovery and well-being.

Officials say an investigation has been started and there has been contact made with anyone who may have come in contact with the member or were at the station during their shift.
