TIMONIUM, Md. — UPDATE:

-----------------------------------

On Thursday for the first time, Baltimore County will offer drive-through COVID-19 testing without requiring an appointment and doctor's order.

It will happen at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

If you want a test, all you need to bring is a photo ID. You should also have a cell phone so you can talk with testing staff on site. For those wanting to get their child tested, write down their name and date of birth on a sheet of paper and have it ready when you get to the fairgrounds. Also, be sure to wear a mask.

After testing, patients will be told how and when they can obtain results and what to do if they test positive.
