$10K reward offered for information on deadly Severn shooting

SEVERN, Md. — A 28-year-old man has died one day after he was shot in Severn, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The initial shooting happened on December 30 in the 8100 block of Meade Village Road. A little over a day later, the shooting victim, later identified as Jon Edward Price Jr., died from his injuries.

Police say an autopsy was performed on Friday where the gunshots wounds were determined to be the cause of death.

Anne Arundel County Police say they are investigating all leads, and after several interviews they believe this was a targeted crime.

Police are now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Price's death. Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward by calling the Anne Arundel County Homicide Unit at 410-222-4731.
