14-year-old robbed, assaulted at Annapolis ATM by woman he knows

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A 30-year-old woman was arrested in Annapolis after police say she assaulted and robbed a 14-year-old boy that she knew.

The 14-year-old victim told police Ashley Hill came up to him after taking money out of an ATM in the 1200 block of Forest Drive. The teen says Hill demanded money and then assaulted him.

He told police he tried to run away, but Hill grabbed him by his clothes several times, preventing him from escaping. She allegedly continued to assault him and slam him to the ground until she took his money and left .

Annapolis Police say they were able to find Hill and arrest her. She has since been charged with robbery, first and second degree assault, theft, and false imprisonment. She is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
