ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A 15-year-old boy was arrested in Annapolis on Wednesday after a stolen car he was allegedly riding in hit a house.
Annapolis Police say someone called Anne Arundel County Police after seeing their friend's stolen pick-up truck on the road. Officers started to look for the car and found it being driven in the 1900 block of Copeland Street, but when they tried to stop it the suspects jumped out without putting the car in park.
The car then began to drift and eventually hit a house in the area. Police soon after were able to find one of the suspects, a 15-year-old boy from Annapolis and arrest him.
The teen was arrested and charged as a juvenile with auto theft, theft, unauthorized use of vehicle and possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia, and then released to a guardian.
A building inspector did look at the house hit by the car and says it is still structurally sound.
