A 20-year-old man has been arrested after police say he was involved in the gang-related murder of Jose Portillo.
Portillo's remains were found in a wooded area of Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis on August 28, 2017. He had been reported missing since March 11, 2016

On Tuesday, police say they served a warrant on 20-year-old Juan Rodriguez, the second suspect to be arrested in connection with this murder. Rodriguez was already incarcerated at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center on unrelated charges.
Police say evidence and witness interviews at the scene indicated that Rodriguez was involved in Portillo's murder. Rodriguez is charged with First and Second Degree Murder, First and Second Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment.
