GLEN BURNIE, Md. — A 29-year-old man was arrested for attempting to rob a McDonalds early Tuesday morning.
At around 12:40 a.m., officers arrived to the McDonalds that's located at 7379 B&A Boulevard, in Glen Burnie, for an attempted commercial robbery.
A male suspect approached an employee, stated that he had a handgun and demanded cash. The employee did not comply, so the suspect fled toward 8th Avenue. Several units, including Air and K-9 units, arrived to canvass the area.
An officer ended up locating Darrian Lee Jr., of Baltimore, who was positively identified as the suspect by the victim.
Lee, who was arrested and transported to Northern District for processing, has been charged with Robbery, Armed Robbery and 1st and 2nd degree assault.
