3 armed robberies reported in Anne Arundel County

Police are searching for suspects in three reported armed robberies in northern Anne Arundel County.

At about 1 a.m. on May 6, police responded to a robbery in the 300 block of Hance Avenue in Linthicum. A man said he was in front of his home getting out of his car when another man approached, producing a handgun and demanding money. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in a car. Police did not find him after canvassing the area. He's described as between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, wearing all dark clothing and a black mask.

Later that morning, officers responded to a robbery in the 5200 block of Disney Avenue in Brooklyn Park at 7:41 a.m. A woman said she was in front of her residence when a man approached her, flashed a handgun, and demanded her purse. The woman complied and the man ran towards the Baltimore City line with the purse. The suspect was described as a black man wearing a blue or teal hooded jacket and pants (pictured above).

On May 4, police responded to a robbery in the 4600 block of 4th Street in Brooklyn Park at about 11 p.m., where two juveniles said they were walking home from a nearby convenience store when a man approached them and demanded their money and phones after displaying a handgun. The victims complied and the suspect fled on foot. Police could not find him after canvassing, and described the suspect as a black male wearing a light colored sweat suit.
