An Anne Arundel County man, who is already a registered sex offender, was arrested and charged Thursday with distribution and possession of child porn.
According to investigators, back in February they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reporting the distribution of child porn from a specific internet address. That address reportedly led investigators to John Dillon of Harwood.
Investigators say a search warrant of Dillon's home recovered electronic devices with child porn files. He was also in illegal possession of multiple firearms and ammunition.
The 60-year-old was taken into custody at his home without incident and being held without bond.
Dillon is being charged with two counts of distribution of child porn, three counts of possession of child porn, three counts of illegal possession of a firearm and one count of illegal possession of ammunition.
